What's on your mind ?
Tell me baby what you hide
I know there's something I got to find
But cant' you see I'm too blind?

Do you love me or do you pretend to care
Are you here with me or is your heart still there?
I believe in love, I do. But this one ain't fair
My heart wants to reveal but my mind doesn't dare

So you think I'm careless and cold but darling no
I love you like crazy but I just can't show
I have so much to say but I just can't let it go
Baby I'm shot in pieces, don't you know?

I know I hurt you but so did you
I was hurt for years...that's true
I spent hundreds of days in the blue
Trying to get over the sadness and over you

Every night I've been a sip away from keeling over
I forgot how it feels being clean and sober
I was getting cold and colder
When you left in October
And that day wouldn't get older

But now that you're back , you're still my soul
The only one who makes me whole
So honey don't go , please don't go
I'll try to break this hole

Though we're not perfect lovers, I confess
But in making me feel good you're the best
I know we will make it through this mess
So just love me..more or less

You know, there are too many confusions going through my head
I can't stand thinking about them. I guess I'm going mad
Cause losing you once left me half dead
We've always been on the bottom and that's my bad

So for one second try to let your heart open
And for one minute try to let go the unspoken
Please divulge to me if there's a good omen
But don't reassemble if there's something broken

Let's not part again
And I won't pretend
Love me not as a friend
Cause I don't want us to end

So what's on your mind
Tell me baby what you hide

let's not part again,and i won't pretend, love me not as a friend, 'cause i don't want this to end......WOW....i wish i could tell him that....you wrote this from where my heart is right now...you write your pain so very well.....
