breaking out of failing in full circle

cold footed autumn, it's groundhog's day again...

throw another one up on the stake/
really / what difference does it make?
there's enough to char the world/
but not enough to cauterize this heart.

i've gone and done it all again...

lifeshock therapy / i'll tear down all that's in my way
come join my army / sign up today

our mission statement / though rather obscure
will be that brick through the windshield/
it will help you find your home / make you come out on top
and leave the rest gasping at the bottom

i'll let you know i've encountered monsters/ of every shape and size/
stood on their chests/ only to realize/
they/ filed/ down/ their/ teeth/ to blend in with the crowd/
i am the bullet/ the mirror/ the sword/ and the sun.
