Adventures of Bobby James

Contributed by daylynn_van_wyk on Tuesday, 6th October 2009 @ 01:09:03 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

A dreamer checks out into the night
watching the lions argue with strife,
the office walls start to wonder out of sight
and cartoons begin turning into real-life.

The radio humms a magical melody
making the stars dance in the sky,
Sponge Bob's laughter clouds a present tragedy
and his soul waves reality goodbye.

His superman shirt on as he flys up to the party,
playboy bunnies everywhere dancing upon pink clouds,
He waves hiz v.i.p pass leaving Bruce-Lee at the door,
he drifts to the bar, watching Homer swollow the cure.

Bravo lays dormant on the ground
too many savage replys to bad pick up lines,
The Joker hands him an exploding cigar,
superman's punch rescues; knocking Joker accross the bar.

"They killed Kenny!", Stan yells,
"You bastards!", a reply echos through the brawl,

the bouncer Hulk interviens
and aggressives souls fall.

Wonder Woman buys him a drink,
they laugh watching Yoda argue with Patrick,
Mr. Krabz steals the free peanuts
whilst Merlin Djs with magic.

Pitbull and B.o.B take to the stage,
him and Wonder Women take to the floor,
the beat lowers his emotional gravity,
her kiss; the source to this love factory.

His heart heavy, he falls through the floor
filled with the happyness his soul yearns for,
Wonder Women catches him in the sky
holding hands toward a beautiful sunrise they fly.

The sun brightens as do office lights,
the lions roars fade into colleagues laughter,
"day dreaming again", he sighs,
yet his heart awaits 'Happily Ever After.'

Awesome writing here. The part about sponge bob cracked me up
My grandson is 9 and he's been a fan amost since birth. I never would have ever thought up something like that. I'm sure who ever is rich by now.
smiles,
blessings,
emy
