My Heart..

Contributed by Obscured_Existance on Monday, 5th October 2009 @ 08:00:44 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Please take my heart..
For I have no use for it nomore
Damaged and broken
With so many flaws

Please take my heart..
Take it far from me
Bleeding and and dying
Can you not see?

Please take my heart...
Ripped from my chest
Tired and worn out
Not working its best

Please take my heart..
And leave me my soul
No more hurt will I feel
Of this Ive been told

Please take my heart
Wanting to be set free
Lifeless and empty
I now live in peace

Hi

P - sounds like a very emotional resignation.
Perhaps giving your heart away so readily is not
such a good idea. Could it be that you gave it
easily in the past, only to have it crushed?
Don't put so small a value on it, as expressed in
your poem. In the game of love it's ''priceless!''

Well done - you write from the soul!

Perhaps those that know you well already realise that your heart is fragile and needs to be protected.
I think there is more life in that heart than you choose to acknowledge

Steve
