Where your suppose to be.

Topic: LostLove

I see the sun come up in the morning
I smile to the birds singing,
but I look next to me,
something is missing.
I miss you here with me.

I see the day passing,
people happily surounding me
and I go on like every other day.
Its just this incomplete feeling chasing me,
something is missing.

I see the sand grains at the beach,
the waves, the sea breeze blowing through my hair.
I lay and get a nice sun tan,
still I feel misplaced,
like your not here.

I see dinner on my dinning room table,
candles burning bright.
I have friends around me to share some laughter with,
still I feel distant, dont want to be here,
I want to be where you are.

I see my bed at night and I grasp my pillow tight.
Another long night alone,
just me myself and I occupying this space,
in this empy bed,
and there is space for you here.

I turn the radio on,
our song plays and I drift on memories......
I see us together.
Nothing is missing,
.....perhaps just our children sharing in our hapiness.

I fall asleep slowly,
wishing you would meet me in my dreams
and fill this missing space.
You and me.
Thats where your suppose to be.

Mesmerizing writing.
