it's a cry for help, maybe someone will realise one day,
all the hurt she's been through,
it could of been you ...
had all of them fooled, thinking she was happy and proud,
but did anyone know of all the hurt she's been through?
it could of been you ...

There is sadness and pain here. Who is "it could of been you" referring to? I don't mean to pry.
