wilderness of thought

Contributed by kleetas on Friday, 2nd October 2009 @ 10:58:40 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

What is that of which you seek Matters wondrous for bold and meek Questions, questions of worlds that go Lifelong answers for you to know Puzzles, puzzles confuse the mind What is the answer for poor mankind? Travel outwards to far off lands The answer is within thine hands The world is crazy, dark and deep Fearsome entities invade thy sleep What do I make of all this trouble? Correct the flaw that ends in rubble Turn to Him, you exiled masses Removeth all rose-coloured glasses You seek the truth but dare not tell Your banishment will end in hell Stand up to say the words that heal Never spoken for all to feel What have I done to hold the crown? To huddled masses circling round Seek not the journey to distant shores The light, the answer to menial chores Question more the truth not found All might perish deep underground Do not tarry , move fast in flight Discover all thy kingdoms plight The grand illusion too much for thou Confining solutions I can endow Are you sure of anything? What will mankinds' destiny bring?

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
