Grief

I sit here now a simple flame
The things I see, such a shame
I sit and stare in utter despair
This flame I have well now it flares
No longer will I stay silent
And endure so much violence
I leap to action my thoughts a blur
As I scream these words do they slur
His head whips around dead lock on me
He mutters words that cannot be seen
My rage subsides a soul cracked
The words he spoke never to be taken back
In the distance a sudden crash
A leap of freedom to be had
