"Less Than A Father"
What do you know about life, or about living?
You may be a king, however a pawn can become anything.
Maybe you think you control the board,
In truth it's you who is the most vulnerable,
You don't deserve the name father,
With your coldness towards my mother,
Your lack of understanding of your offspring,
King, or businessman, you lack a heart or soul,
You have used your family to get that which you want,
Can you say you're ever happy?
Sad old man with your corporation, food, and television,
Trapped by your ambition, blinded to that which matters most,
I envy you not in the least,
In your footstep I will not tread,
Someday I will be free from your sick game,
Free to live in a world of beauty, generosity, honesty, love.

| I certainly am sorry for what you might feel towards your father........its a pity that we cannot choose our parents right?all you can do is show them love even though they show you none.be strong to know that life teaches us hard lessons and your father will someday see the light....... |

A well written and sarcastic view. If this based on fact, my sympathies. As the previous comment-er stated, It's up to be the bigger person and give love where none is to be had.
