out of the blue the phone rang, I hadnt heard from you in 2 years.
I knew your voice and I could tell you your were going through hell.
the one you loved your wife had just moved out,
to another arms she fled, your heart was beaking, she''d taken all the things you bought for her out of love,
she about emptied your house.
you asked of me on bended knee, to come back to the home we had left,
to protect your things whiles your away a work.
I agreed, so we came back.
This little girl needed to know you, which she almost forgot, but the love inside her heart wouldnt let go.
So we came back.
I take care of this home that use to be mine,
but now is just a shell.
I pay your bills like i agreed,
and to get things back on track.
yes I came back.
I know you still talk to her all the the time that your away,
and things have never been solved, in your heart she stays.
when you come home and were alone, in your arms you want me to be,
dont you see what your doing to me,
I see in your eyes all your lies, nothing has ever changed, except for me.
I see
You brought me here on a scare, that you would be alone,
because a new love you thought she found.
someone to take care of thing while your away at work,
baby Im not a jerk.
I will do this for you as I said, but dont exspect me in your bed.
Your a married man yet and not to me.
remember now I see.
I rememer all the lies all the tears I had shed,
for the sames reasons now you have bled.
But I came back,
this little girl is older now, not a baby nomore,
she''s a little lady now, with eyes opened wide,
your the only daddy she''s ever know, its been 6 years we''ve been gone,
for her heart,
we came back.
I couldnt let her not remember the man that she loved so,
because you never called her, not a card to say hello.
for this childs tears for years have tore my heart in threads,
Do you think I came back just to jump in your bed
when you called to ask me for help,
I CAME BACK.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
