Canadian people they know to react , They answer the call when bad men attack Get with the program, the rest of your kin Show your commitment to ending the sin. Lay down all weapons, Pick up the cause No more gambling With mother earth laws Bloodthirsty tyrants from ivory towers Depend on the weak Slave hours and hours Listen to David he's been there before Global pariah from opulent wars Pretent you are praying on this judgement day Run to your bank vault And do not delay Show every human the food we can buy Ship all to Darfur To troops in Dubai I come on a mission from light years away And what I can see Is society's decay No room for compassion No patience to hear The human condition unravelled by fear So timid these humans of things that go bang Rejoicing armies Extollers of pain
