Lavender Fields

Long walks through lavender fields
passing near poppy seed manors.
Drinking my fill from sweetbread factories;
then resting under willows by the run.
Watching yellow humming birds
as I lay next to grass covered gnomes.
Flittering by; never pausing
yet stop to sip from flower’s nectar.
Who can truly follow me and behold
the sunrise with pink satin sunsets;
the rich color of autumn leaves
as only seen during deepest winter?
Eat pommecythere in the ocean
while stars gleam below?
Have boat rides on Loch Ness
while seeing London from the Eye?
Marvel at spider webs glinting in the sun;
which have yet to be spun?
Witness fairy tales by candlelight,
and swim under waterfalls of ambrosia?
