Perfection

Contributed by LadyRose on Thursday, 24th September 2009 @ 10:33:28 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

the little things that we always wanted
placed on a silver platter
wrapped in gold and diamond strings
the perfect piece of heaven made just for me
does it exsist?
as man and women roam earth in search for
a perfect fit
does it exsist?
that one person that completes your world
that gives you that little extra
that perfect love?
or do you love me because I stutter a little?
or I have nasty squint?
or because my teeth are crooked?
maybe because my breath smells?..............
do you want me because of my luscious curves?
or my full sized clivage?
or maybe for my long black hair?
or maybe because of the cash in my pocket?
perfection is what true love makes of it
thats what we should search for
...true love that does not care if your pretty or not
but cares enough to love you completely
thats what perfection is.......

Yup, I agree or also as I once wrote to someone:

You are not perfect but you are perfect for me

Take care,

Tim

Well, i've always thought perfection was relative. My idea of perfection is a woman with passion, intelligence and a kind soul. Some guys like soulless blondes with legs twice the height of the CN tower. It's what kinda relationship you want to have. One based on shallow superficial things, or one based on meaningful things. The problem is, for every 1 person looking for depth, there are probably 4 people just looking for espresso sex. Such is humanity. But they can keep their leggy blondes. I'll keep searching for that beautiful, if elusive, depth thank you very much.

society creates the tainted version of 'perfection.' i just think each person is perfect by their uniqueness, cuz if everyone was perfect, every 1 would be the same right? that seems boring/monotonous to me. and if people dont accept u for who u r, then screw them!

i enjoyed your write. well done

take care

I like this one, Ladyrose!

Perfection is an ever-changing perception .....

You like tall blondes, then you marry a smallish brunette ...... perfect!
Your wife's pregnant and you want a baby boy, but you get a baby girl ...... perfect!
The ugliest guy in town turns out to be the kindest guy in town ...... perfect!

We don't always get what we perceive we should, but when we're happy with what we
have, then ........ it's perfect!!

Tommy
