return to the fold

to discover
the elusive
comporment
of these twilight years
fallen wishes
well-worn paths
well-worn
lost desires
coin by coin
petal by petal
dropping
like falling
stars
time past
into time
full of lost
full of empty
sleepy patchwork
slow
dance
of time
sweet half-life
slow sugar-coated
coma of a dance
Goddess
have mercy
the past
laid out
the present as it is
the future as it will be
and will be again
a unfurling
breathless
with
a shiver motion
time
beyond.

I love to follow your trail of words & the succession of meaning. This piece speaks
to me of time, life lived & the move beyond what we dare to know. Great piece. elle :) |
