ETERNALLY BURN
by: Dana 2008
orig poem & writer
Wide Awake
in the morning sun,
in the
rearview mirror
I observe the
Damage
the
Night before
has done,
wondering if i'm
the only one
that is
Tormented
and
Abused,
left in
emptyness..
Empty,but
filled with
Stress,
getting to
familiar
with the
Loneliness,
Noone to
talk to
or be with....
Downing
and
Drowning
on another
5th...
Nothing eases
the
Inner Chaos,
Noone can
Distract
my mind from
being
Depressed..
And writing
it down isn't
helping anymore
at all...
I'm Taking
my
Final Fall,
Feeling suddenly
and intensely very
SMALL.
I want to
make people
hurt just
the way they
do to me
and i'm in the
Wrong for
having
that way
of
thinking!!!
Into
HELL
i'm quickly
sinking...
No longer
concerned
with
Light Everlasting
Accepting the
Downward Spiral
where i'll
Eternally Burn....

Sad but well written.
Most members if you comment on their work they return the favor but then others don't.
I know 'bout the road you're speaking. I went down the same road years back then one day a light bulb flickered on and I realized I was only hurting myself and others. Some didn't hurt but they were stone cold. Once I understood that I was just wasting time and precious energy then I started to turn my life around. Ofcourse it didn't come over night. It takes time but a least I can wake each day and see good behind me instead of the living hell.
keep up the great writing.
huggs, blessings,

I LOVE the imagery of this poem! It is as if I have seen a great "disaster-movie"( no that don't give it justice, but it's as close as I will get).
Pardon my lack of metaphors! |
