To push the door you must know where
Make the most of little time
Search out the handle, give it a twist
You could dine on caviar and drink the finest wine
Do I deny or do I die
Illegal and so troubled
Cash strapped dancer, persistent chancer
The weight is only doubled
The distribution of your merits
Seems to last forever
We’ll do what we’ve always done
And get through this together
Is it worth it, why not burn it
Why should it come to this?
How can someone ever win?
When they just take the ....
Whatever the weather
I’ve always concluded
Whatever the weather
We’re all deluded

Wow. What a perfectly profound thought. That lat stanza really
seals it, doesn't it? Rose-coloured glasses and all. It takes an awful
lot of experience and life lessons to figure it all out. And just when you
think you DO (have it figured out), life slaps you in the face with yet
another lesson.
Very provocative piece. I had to read this twice to really let it
sink in. Well done!

It never rains then it pours.
Harder on some than another.
Carry a brolly of course
If already wet then why bother |
