I am a vessel of african soil.
Residing in the southern parts of it,
just next to Table Mountain.
The place where Nelson Mandela fought for freedom?
That is where I come from.
Proudly South African.
So many races all around.
Eleven national languages spoken.
So much history to speak of,
so many sites to see,
so glad to say.......
I am an African child.
The Rainbow nation
.......that is where I come from.......

You be proud! And why not - it's a beautiful
country - I remember Durban, Zululand, and
Empangeni from many years ago. One day I'll
go back there .... one day!

Ever since I was very young I have been captivated by images of table mountain and the mighty panorama of Cape Town. Clearly your nation has had it's problems in the past, but I hope you can build on the values you share as fellow human beings and forge a future South Africa which is an African paradise. You can show the rest of the continent what peace and solidarity can do for a country.
