The last moments we try to stretch
Make them go on forever
So that, just maybe
We could stay together
When time will wait no more
To you I'll say goodbye
With mounting sadness
Losing my closest ally
Your promises I'll hold onto
Keep those I gave you
Remembering daily
We will both be true
Even a world apart
Our love will stay strong
Today and tomorrow
For we know we belong
Taking seperate paths
Like we're often called to do
No matter how far you go
I'm always here for you
