Here comes the Cops

Oh Lord here we go again......

Out the door down the stairs
on my merry way.
A potty walk just she and I
myself and little Leshay.

Down the walk around the bend
ohhhh ohhh here we go again
Vancouver Pd charging down the walk
I said a fast hi, off he charged.

Made it out to the street,
one, two three more cop cars we greet
all flying in over drive
better all run, run for our lives.

Doors flying open
weapons all drawn
I decided to keep walking
maybe soon they would be gone.......

Oh noooooo dont think so

One, two, three four
now adding six or seven
to the score from before
canine units, big cop dogs
Leshay decided she wanted to bark.

Zoom zoom here comes some more
More cops with more noisy cars.
Everywhere I looked,
it was time for a show
looked like the movies
time for me to go......

Soon everyone gathered
and people were cuffed
canine officers kicking
royal bad guy butts.....
Hand cuffs and yelling
guns drawn indeed
never a dull moment
in this part of the city!

One would think
after every other day
of the cops, fire trucks
and even the meat wagon
hauling people away......

That the bad guys would clear out
and not return again,
but that doesn't seem to be the case
it is the cops and the bad guys
always face to face.

It reminds me of the wild wild west
only instead of horses
the fast speedy cars
and the bad guys have bigger guns
than the outlaws of yore

Still the same story
here we go again
another day in the city
here come the cops
a toss up to see who will win.

Note: true story lol and this will be continued too, it is at the point every other day
there is a show down going on around here, in the dark, in the daylight
doesn't matter, Here comes the cops lol

Our little island is quickly becoming like your city...No one has any respect for life anymore... Amidst the severity of the situation, I could appreciate a good laugh..Thank you for sharing this, Shells...
Hugs

I giggled at this poem. It remind me of a scene in a comedy movie. LOL But you're right. People are getting arrested almost everyday now.

Duck and cover hun!!!!

Holy heck sweetie. This would drive me nuts! Although your piece did
remind me a little of Beverly Hills Cop ... no idea why. :P

Hope you are staying out of trouble. :P and yeah, keep your head down.

*huge hugs*

be SAFE!
