Once Upon the Woods

The woods wrap welcoming limbs around me;
further and further inside absorbing the peace of trees,
The pines prick me with their fine fingers;
this wooded memory will forever linger.
Hiking through this shaded realm, I clear my head;
inside this paradise dissolves worry's tread.
Wishing to never escape this land, I walk down a path never explored;
stepping across tree-root stairs, I hold back dense branches and enter a tree's door.
