The sun and the moon
are here for the world-
Each night we dream
wishing we had a special boy or girl.
And each day,
we search the land
trying to find the one
who will hold our hand.
The sun and the moon
are both always near.
One shines bright
when our love is here.
The sun and the moon
are totally different.
One red, one blue.
How can two things opposite
make so much love?
Each brings happiness
sent by the one from up above.
The sun and the moon
are our symbols of faith.
The ability to trust.
The sun is hot.
The moon is cold.
Together they are
the emotions we hold.
You be the sun,
and i'll be the moon.
Let's join together
and over eachother we'll swoon.
