T'was early October the day we first met
He wanted to go to the "Rock:"
Two bicycles tied to the back of his Van
We drove out to this place he called his own
To meditate, think and just be alone
But, this day was different cause right from the start
He made an impression on my heart
With camera in hand he led me up
Click after click he had me awestruck
Down to the other side we went
We sat on the ground he gave me his shirt
'Feel my heart pound' was his only request
As I lay my head on his waiting chest
I rested there for quite a while
And began to enjoy his quiet style
So different to me and a welcome change
I wanted to tell him but was afraid
Talk of the past paved our way back
Stories that burned in my heart
I found myself yearning more and more
To get into this gentle man's heart
