They hate the clever
And keep themselves conceded
While the demean the distinguished
Because their comfort comes with a price
You just have to learn in life
Sometimes there just isn’t room for nice
If you don’t choose
Then surely you’ll be chosen
To act out their attacks
While your thoughtless brain
Stops to maintain dreams
Until you do what’s seen
and accept life as it seems
Life with blinders on
Just stops and goes
No highs No lows
Until at last you repose
Their words of wisdom
Are so easy to give
Because their out and never in
But what to do now
Tangled in the mangled mess
Of pawns king and queens
You call it life they call it chess
Each move has a motion
As you regress they find success

A great poem! Sometimes I think the rhyming doesn't work because half does and half doesn't, otherwise great poem. I love the message you are trying to convey.
