Moonlight reflects on the uplifting waves;
mesmerized by the crashing surf as it washes wishes astray,
I settle in the damp sand and leave impressions in nature's mold.
The ocean whispers a thousand secrets each wave has been told;
Peace perfectly precise at the peak of the highest tide,
climaxing at the exact height where all dreams reside.
Waves wash away the world's woes;
rolling into another until calm takes control,
I sift the sand of this magical land with eyes wide open.
Lost in the waves, my eyes show the ocean devotion.

It made me want to drive down to the beach and sit on the sand and just watch the waves.....well done!

Your imagery is great in this one! It was as if I was there in your fantasy. Excellent. |

You've captured perfectly the inspiration of a night on the beach. Right down to the moonlight reflecting off the waves.
If this is just a fantasy and not a memory you've shared with us, you have quite an imagination. |
