ON THE GROUNDS OF BITTER HATRED

Contributed by AnthonyGoodwinJnr on Wednesday, 16th September 2009 @ 05:50:02 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

So is this where it landed?
The undercarriage of injustice open handed,
An appeal in contradictions of belief.
Imploring ought to bring some relief.
Spare a thought for the 270 killed
When stating a minimum duration of 27 years should be filled.
So it goes to a hospital that is part of the plot,
Get in on the NHS now your foreign national prostrate is shot.
A difference of opinion for an appeal is always promising,
On the grounds of insensitivity, callous Scots unfeeling.
Let’s release a feebly judgmental statement,
Leave out all the damning segments,
So that those that persevere with seeing him out
Will have little grasp of what loss is about.
Out of the nation state and into jail,
The moderates will stumble before they fail.
Assurances to keep in the dark families on both sides of the Atlantic
Are only necessary to those who are pedantic.
Those in clover seek exposure
They remove an obstacle to the transfer.
All hail the Scottish powers that be!
Let’s be seen to believe in liberty.
An aid finds an eye-opener that will stimulate fact,
Self proclaimed jurors exercise tact,
They say he is sad as regards the hearsay,
Oh! Won’t it be a sorrowful departure for Tripoli?
How ghastly that he’s incurably off colour
Due to an excessive concentration of power.
Triumphant will be the return to Labia and to the table of nations,
Brainwashed, blinkered ramblings, empty proclamations.
“And justice for all” what justice?
Travesty once more in the eyes of the public.
First class travel on a private jet,
Bookmakers are offering odds, fancy a bet?
Was he a blood substitution
From a misguided revolution?
Do we really have the strength beneath our weighty crown,
To stop the crazy bastards who send things crashing down?
We’re overly considerate, it’s us that we should please, Lets elect Monty Python, vote Idle, Palin, Cleese.
The mass murders committed,
Somehow befitted,
Politics and speeches rich in irony,
Acceptance of the warlords side by side with tyranny.
We endure a salutary state of affairs
But we’re alright Jack so no-one cares
And in so doing hangs a problem
The dead and maimed are not forgotten.
The terrorists in suits throw off pariah status,
The bile they spit through smiling lips still shows that they hate us.
Across the world on cheap TV they’re aired on private channels,
Debating the inconsequentiality of life on mindless chat show panels.
Of the lost 189 were American,
Maybe now the Yankee view is not so libertarian.
No matter what don’t speak undiplomatically,
All unstable people react problematically,
The fundamental arguments are absolutely wrong,
Unless Bono or Sir Bob find a cause to write song.
So here we draw a line and curtail his defence
An avoidable catastrophe on a scale so immense,
However it’s policed,
The guilty are released.
It sounds like soft soap treatment.
For actions so vehement.

EXCELLENT!! Well written and thought provoking - especially the injustice of it all. Well done.

Well formed and true to the injustice of it all.
Dont forget the part that Westminster played in
it all - you know, that part that hasnt been
owned up to yet, and which the US choose
to ignore.
