On a fine day in hell, echo’s the devil’s laugh
Lost in a labyrinth, and his breath blinds my path
My demise lies in Satan’s eyes
His red glare consumes me
Through these hidden voices in my head, I hear help callin’
I turn to see my angel, and with me.. She has fallen
I shall not die in vain though, lord, lend me your hand to hold
My body lays blistered, but not yet cold
A contained soul in the devil’s grasp,
I want to be free
Then his shadow vanishes, a light is caste, and I can now see
A helping hand is reaching out, the lord answered me
In a dying path and in sight was no other
I rose to my feet in the grasp of my brother
I stared down hells pit, 6 feet from the edge
Prevalence through abyss….my life over his
…A firefighter’s pledge
