When you walked in the room
all eyes stared in wonder,
dazedly gazing upon you.
When you spoke,
everyone listened to your words-
waiting to see if you might choke.
When you hurt inside,
your friends were there-
helping you to keep your head held high.
you were a beautiful person-
both inside and out.
You could show us things-
what life was all about.
You made people happy-
you gave them a friend.
Most of them knew
you were friends to the end.
For some reason
that all had to stop.
At the beginning of the season,
you fell from the top.
you brought much pain to us all.
You took something away from us.
Heidi, we know it wasn't your fault.
But there is a big empty space
that no one can fill
except the one that holds your face.
You may be gone-
out of our lives-
but you're forever in our hearts.
Heidi, goodbye.
