Leshay was not so sure
about this new found friend.
Lacey is so large,
on that one can depend.
So the two exchanged
a couple wags of tail.
A friendship is emerging
that is simple to tell.
The two girls converged together
and decided to adorn the steps.
With their cute little girl ways
there was not a soul who could resist.
We think they exchanged their thoughts
and knew the other was true.
Thus a friendship is growing
just between the two.
In this life the simple times
can be measured such as this.
If we take a moment
to watch upon our pets.
(Just take a deep breath, and spend some time sitting on the steps!)
