If there is a hole in your heart
the size of a fist,
and an emptiness there
for love sorely missed,
then i want you to know
it does not have to be,
and i would love you to share it
with someone like me.
If you have ever been hurt
and the scars still remain,
and your wish is for someone
to help ease your pain,
then i want you to know
that i am waiting right here,
and i will do all that i can
to help end your fear.
If you've a need to feel loved
and for someone to care,
and your life seems so empty
without someone to share,
then i want you to know
that i'm lonely too,
and i've been waiting a lifetime
to love someone like you.

I really like it and it flowed very easily. I like the sentiment and can oh so relate. The only thing I see and I suppose this is only a persoanl preference and my English teachers from the past, the "I" should be capitalized.
Thanks for an enjoyable read.
