What would you say

Contributed by Keykey on Monday, 14th September 2009 @ 05:34:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

If I cut my wrist and I start to bleed
would you care about my wants; would you care about my needs
If I'm not able to see another day
What would you do; what would you say

If I jumped out the window that is five stories high
would you laugh of joy or would you cry
If I start taking pills and I know it's not okay
What would you do; what would you say

If you said it would harm me and I do it anyway
If I get hit by standing out on the roadway
If I said I want to leave the earth cause I don't want to stay
What would you do; what would you say

Great poem actually Keykey, but needs a little work to make it 'flow'.

No one could read this and not feel the pain written into it. As someone who has been there himself, I know how much it hurts.

I wouldn't have thought it possible back then, but it does get better. It just takes time and the support of someone who cares about you.

Hold on a little longer, and you'll see what I mean. I speak from experience.

And in answer to the question in your poem, I'd say, "Please, don't do it," and I'd offer you a shoulder to lean on.

I would say it's your choice.
Compelling reading.
Believe.
