Things come to an end before we're ready,...
things we take for granted,...
always ready and steady.
Things...
or people,...
we never quite see...
as a part of our structure...
so that we... can be.
Too late now,... yet...
we can hold them
in our memory.

it reminded me of all the people i'll miss when Jesus comes back because i'm sad to say I know a lot of people who i don't think will make it to heaven...but that's God decision(judgement) not mine...but this was a really great poem... |

Wow! I answered your Email first, then find you telling me something I said to you! You may find this comforting. People change by the love and grace of God. I have meaningful people that love God in my life now that I had no idea would be important to me in my little world. But, some not-so-perfect people have done alot of nice things for me that I took for granted and that is who I want to honor here. |

Yah, that's so true. I never realized how much I loved my best friend, until he left. Your poetry is great, very inspirational. God bless you!

Thank you, Sarah, for the comment. I'm pleased that you get something of value from what I write. I hope to not take my loved ones or any of this abundance of blessings for granted. When the time comes to part, I want to feel no guilt or regret for what I've given or not given. Bless you, Sarah. Bizzy |
