I told you that I loved you and that I always will
so how come our love went downhill
I said I'll never leave you; I wouldn't let you go
You was the best I ever had, but you already know
You know I'll always be there; you know I'll always care
You know I'm always with you, of course you are aware
I've always felt your joy; I've always felt your pain
I would even stand by you out in the rain
So why did you leave me, did you not love me
If that is so, then I will let you be
but for some reason I can't, no matter what I do
I'll always end up thinking of you

How about:
I told you that i loved you and that i always will
but from that very moment, our love-life went down hill,
i said i'd never leave you, i wouldn't let you go
you were the best i ever had, but that you already know.
You know i'll always be there and that i'll always care,
you know i'm always with you - of course you are aware.
I've always felt your happiness and lived through all your pain,
and i'll always stand beside you - yes, even in the rain.
The last verse i would need longer to fix....

this is a very beautiful poem
very heartfelt
im sorry that you feel this way
but love isnt easy to get over
but one day youll meet someone that makes it easier
