One day I'll find the formula to write something good
no doubt I'll write more than I should
write as much as I can before I forget
as my wisdom and personality are put to the test
skipping rocks across the stream
watch the fish swim away with my dream
my eyes and ears I would gladly exchange
I knew my life was about to change
all alone sitting on the grass
night time came and I was staring at the stars
a summers night the air was scented warm
off in the distance the sound of a rumbling storm
mild spring rain caught on the breeze
brings life to winter trees
I'll be wandering alone, forever downstream
till I catch the fish
who swam away with my dream:)
