The sound of a storm
Makes me feel free
I don't know why
I guess this is just me
To feel safety from the thunder
While everyone is scared
Really i don't see
Why are storms feared
They light up the sky
And make a massive ROAR
The beauty of nature
Makes me love it more
The sound of a storm
Is the best thing to hear
Like God is talking to you
I guess that's why i don't fear
I love to lay down and cuddle
And getting nice and warm
While i fall to sleep
To the sound of a storm

OH yes!! What a wonderful thing to capture in words! Storms are
magnificent! Few things can make you feel as A L I V E as a storm!
It's great to be able to channel passion in this way. To be able to exact
the emotion life gives us and place it on the page.

| Beautifully expressed. I love the elements as well. Nothing is more surreal than the intense power display of a lightning storm in the pouring rain. Your rhyme is placed well and your metered verse is spot on. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. |
