her house is empty,all alone
no one answers hows or whys
thunder rumbles,changes blow
alone at night...she cries
her soul is crushed, severly weathered
she shakes her fist at angry skies
without warning her world is shaken
alone at night...she cries
she tries to pray as her faith weakens
with nothing left she hopes she dies
asking god unanswered questions
alone at night...she cries
she sees her future, nothing pretty
the haunted look of downcast eyes
her storm is raging, not releasing
alone at night...she cries
she's done nothing, but she pays
there's never time for last goodbyes
blue skies gone for dark tommorrow
so alone at night...she cries
