when day is on and silence nears
i fear the nignt when dead air rears
while i tell the hush hush to quiet down
it hurts to hear the numbing sound
the walls do crack and far doors close
a russel of a bag a sneeze of a nose
sounds of a train and a honk of a car
these sounds i claim are not up to par
my stillness is a deafening screach
my ears bleed and brain does preach
where in my home i am far too lull
the censorship is a galiping bull
the sleep of life in an iron curtained room
raging silence muffels whatever was to bloom.
