Smile so fake

I see them couples holding hands,
Staring into each others eyes,
Kissing under the shining sun,
I smile and say how I think its cute
But deep inside I know that smile’s fake
Don’t get me wrong
I’m happy for them
Just sometimes I wish I had a special someone
To hold my hand
And to give me that stare
I see more and more couples everywhere
I hold back the tears that would probably fall
If it wasn’t for the fact I’m happy for them all
I just cant help that fake smile on my face
Its not that I’m jealous of the people there with
I just get so lonely every now and then
I wish I had that special someone
To hold my hand
And to give me that stare
