I told myself its over
Like a crushed four leaf clover
Squashed with out hope
Unable to stand unable to cope
And then the sun shines new
And the first image is about you
How you play with your hair
Your sparkling eyes when you stare
The way you walk
The smile in your voice when you talk
A reason to awake
With a slim chance at stake
I count the rejections one hundred and three
And yet still you have lunch with me
So I see a small glimmer of hope
Until the next rejection I can cope.
