The angel we never received
Rests within her warm body
Never got a chance to say hello
Or say goodbye
And her walking around rocks her
Baby to sleep.
Tears she wept for her lost angel
Pat her baby to rest each night
I wish we could have met her.
I wish I could have cuddled her
I wish God gave us one day.
...and now she's in heaven
No pain. And we hold her tightly
with our love.
