avoid the truth, it's a whispered lie,
trust no one, for you can see it in there eyes,
their eyes of distrust,
their hearts of lust,
looking at me with disgust.
a stab with disdain, the steel of the blade,
the feeling of pain, memories starting to fade.
the bloody wound upon my skin,
the air of coldness lurking within.
avoid the truth, it's a whispered lie,
trust no one, for you can see it in there eyes.
