kiss me once before I die brandine
it didn't happen, 'cause it wasn't seen
was it behind the bales of hay?
amidst the new timothy, so green where it lay?
no matter, the world knows of it naught
It matters not, 'cause no one saw
I'll never talk, and I'll never tell
and as for you...well.
Like ozymondias, to time, my works shall give way
and history, of me, shall have little to say
But on my tombstone, in letters too small to be seen
Please write--"he was kissed by Brandine"
