-I am-



They show us the way

Teach us lies and destruction

How to find our feet

While holding on to nothing



In search of meaning

We follow the feeble

Breaking hearts and seeking pleasures

Drowning in a see of lies and despair



They claim they know us

They claim they’ll show the way

While we fall apart day by day

Broken, anguished and hollow



Is there really meaning?

Where is the source of meaning?

Is it only for a season?

Why is there no meaning?



We seek and seldom find

The true source of it all

The one that gives us meaning

From this empty song



He says He’s always known us

He is the truth and light

Forever and forever

He will never let us go



He offers life, instead of death

Offers peace, and not despair

In a world of darkness

Will you dare?



Put your trust in Him

He will show the way

Life filled with meaning

And a new beginning…



He’s called the rock of ages

Worth more than all the ages
Seek and you will find…

I am…
