Free falling
with my hand on the trigger
ready to pull it at any moment.
Feeling like my own person for once.
Not what you want me to be,
but perfectly in tune with who I really am.
These eyes won’t close today.
I’m not gonna miss a thing.
I’m fast tracking my way to leaving
nothing behind but a corpse for all you to see.
I got my poison in hand,
my middle finger in the air.
I’m screaming so I don’t have to hear
myself think, but when I take your drugs,
everything is much too clear
and tainted with a touch of things not real.
I’m taking my own drugs now.
Living on my own.
Lets see how fast I get where
I want to be without you.

I don/'/t like suicide poetry much but it is a good way to vent feelings so maybe the deed will be written and not done. If this is more than a muse, get help ... don/'/t let good poetry die. |
