I don’t need your drugs.
I don’t need your remedies.
I don’t need any of your magic voodoo.
I can do life on my own.
I may not go through life
the right way without them,
but I end up in the same place
in the end.
So let me choose.
Let me experiment.
I know what’s right for me
even if you think I don’t.
I will find my own way there.
It may be different from how
you would choose to go,
but this road I’m on will do fine,
at least for now.
So let me go.
