whither stills the mystery
of life & death

lustrous, revelation
. . . awaits divine inspiration

the pearl. . .
not in the apparent moment of discovery

but in the exquisite desire. . .
of the quest.

I drift upon oceans
searching. . . bliss of ignorance

I like your writing, Elle. It gives one a lot to consider, to try to unravel from the writer; What is the background to the poem? The situation? The thought behind it?

I especially like your last line.

Good write, I think the stacatto, staggered, almost drifting flow of this is really good.

I'd like to turn the page and read the second half, Elle. There is awareness and yet the whisper of unknown discovery is just ahead. Keep writing.
