a little euphoria
doesn't sound so bad
when you're on the verge of losing it
I can't help myself through
Everything becomes pointless
I wouldn't mind
a needle against my skin
I'd even let you drive it in
just to make the hurt disappear.
I'd let a feeling cradle me
show me that I'm capable of
something warm inside
It's been so cold in here
My eyes are so tired, worn out
a reflection of the rest of me.
What the hell does beauty matter,
when there's blood and wilted flowers
everywhere you look?
Reality is that no one can save me
there's no hope for the abandoned
the dreamers plagued by nightmares
I don't fit in this world
a warped puzzle piece
Maybe then it's time to go
no one's holding me back.

I get this, you know. I was here, I've been here many times. There's always a bit of hope, you just have to dig for it sometimes, and to do that you need to want to try. You need to want it.
Don't give up, because I got out of it, and life can be good. You can get out of it too.
Hang in there, ok?
I really liked this, it struck a nerve with me, something familiar. I like the questions in this, and the subtle rhymes, so much better than end rhymes.
Good write,

Even though you are writing about a profound pain, the quality of your poetry never waivers. The imagery, precision and rhythm are top class. I think, along with Spud, you are producing the most consistent high quality poetry on this site. Too many people try and get comments by writing pretty-but-boring clichés, but you don’t. Your writing has a unique flavour, and that flavour is beautiful.
