poem 5

Glowing embers soothe and scald
tangled histories concealed and told
vistas of glory lined with rage
gentle moments - my amniotic cage
A fresh blast of oxygen stifles the blood
seeping through pores, it bloodies the mud
soft-spoken warmth searing the skin
Finish me off so I may begin

Hi,
Not really sure what to think of it, with my
sandblasted grey matter!
But ..... like the rhythm - like the flow!
