Distant Butterfly,
you float with your purple wings,
the sounds of fallen tears
harmonizes and gently sings.
Distant Butterfly,
my efforts fade upon distant shores,
a relapse chases
as your presence soars.
Distant BUtterfly,
false hope be-friends me,
re-writing a dreamers beliefs
and setting a wingless eagle free.
Distant Butterfly,
my skin has grown pale,
trapped in a darkroom of misery
sad memories lurk and torture me.
Distant BUtterfly,
I watch you leave from winter,
you light a path to spring
a beautiful vilain, joyful and sinister.
Distant Butterfly,
my heart calms hugged by serenity
your physical presence has left
yet your infinite love comforts me.

Your poetic words were charming and sweet.
Your poem had an old world charm like olden poets and storytellers who beguiled with a smile, wave of the hand and the spinning of words.
Thank you for your poem.
