Desperate Hours

Contributed by Loende on Friday, 4th September 2009 @ 08:43:44 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Your lips on mine, so firm and sweet,
our hearts entwined, in tandem beat.
My fingers linked between your own,
our breaths now mingle as we groan

Oh drink from me like heady wine,
‘till all has ceased and you are mine.
Please dine with me on love alone,
and shelter in this waiting home.

Forgotten now, and left behind,
are all the doubts trapped in my mind.
For though we love, both you and I,
there still are those who will deny.

So these short hours are just for us,
to couple with a desperate lust.
To live a life in minutes few,
I’ll share this lifetime here with you.

oh sweetheart, this is breathtaking!

I feel this through to the very core of me and know intimately how these emotions
grow within us. (All humans). There is no explanation for the want and need of the
human heart. Only that it must feed it. To breath, taste and LIVE in the all of this
hunger. I believe since time began, humans have within them, this instinct to seek
out the one soul that would make this life everything it was always meant to be. Call
me a hopeless romantic if you must. But if Isolde finds her Tristan, how can we
deny what is between them?

Too beautiful for words, hun. Truly an inspiration.

love,
~ me

What a perfect way to express
the timelessness of love.

Your words create a vivid story.

(lovely read)

Yeah, well For though we love, both you and I,
there still are those who will deny.
'tis none of their business anyway.

They have passion, they have love and that's really all that counts.

I can so feel the intesity.

Nicely done my dear Dawnie!!!

*whew* It's hot in here.

oh wow, L, this is hott!! And a little melancholy at the same time. To be with someone who moves heaven and Earth is the ultimate in human connection, but to have it denied by others is just treachurous. (Just ask Romeo or Juliet). When love selects us, how can we not answer her call? This was so damn beautiful. You write with such an amazing air and grace. It is sensual and provocative, but still so sweet and innocent. LOVE your word choices.

This. Is. Poetry. (And extremely beautiful!)

Seléne ~
