Here is to celebrating another year of Life,
Yay! I should be dancing for joy…
So Why don’t I feel like dancing and rather
the whole day I want to avoid…
Every year that goes by, important,
the day I was born, is not…
Actually most times this day,
like history it's almost forgot…
Why do I care then if others remember
It shouldn’t be important to me if they do
Why do I care then if they care
Why do I let it get me down and so blue
This year has been full of trials and tribulations
And full of pain and somber moods
Its been filled with lies and faking
And filled with barely making it through
I guess I should be grateful
for being here at all
I guess I should be thankful
that today I stand tall
This is true and I know I should be
happy for these things
But I'm only human and yet still
tears it brings
That there is only one who
really truly cares
And for me He is always, always
Going to be there
He remembers the day I was born
He actually knew me before I was
and even if no one else cares or remembers
I'm forever grateful that He does

Hi,
At my age I'm hoping EVERYBODY forgets my
birthday - especially my Maker - cos He might
resume marking my card!
My friend, I would guess that you are young.
You have so many years ahead of you and so
much time to learn how to make your mark
in this world. If you aspire to bring light
into other peoples lives - watch them care - and
watch them remember!
From fair Caledonia, I wish you sparkling and
happy birthday!
Tommy
